practical, cost-effective solutions to environmental problems
since that time. Based in British Columbia, with offices in
North Vancouver and Castlegar, TRIs professional team includes
engineers, geoscientists, chemists, biologists, hydrogeologists,
technologists and technicians. Environmental engineering
services include contaminated sites investigations and
remediation, landfill design and closure plans, risk
assessments, environmental compliance audits, regulatory
approvals, EMS development, and ISO 14000 support.

CONTAMINATED SITES Stage 1 & 2 site investigations, detailed
site investigations, site remediation, post-remediation
monitoring, approvals in principle, and certificates of
compliance.
LANDFILLS monitoring of DLC and wood waste landfills, soil and
groundwater assessments, HELP modeling, qualitative risk
assessments, audits, and environmental support for DLC landfill
development.
ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS audits of waste streams, facility
operations and processes, review of permits and compliance,
assessment of management systems.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (EMS) facility inspections,
review of permit compliance, monitoring, testing, and facility
operations, emergency response support, waste management advice,
and liaison with regulatory authorities, neighbours and/or
community groups.
ISO 14000 REGISTRATION SUPPORT training for EMS committees,
review and identification of critical environmental aspects of
operations, assistance in development of corporate environmental
policy, assistance in ISO 14000 certification bids.
IMPACT ASSESSMENTS risk analysis related to herbicide
application, inspections of fuel spill sites, environmental
liabilities, assessments of groundwater quality.
