Fully automatic operation for the highest degree of repeatability and reliability. Parting line injection to significantly improve the show- weight to part-weight ratio, by eliminating the sprue and reducing the runner system to a minimum. This results in savings in raw materials, lower energy costs, elimination of secondary trimming operations and faster cycle speeds. Multiple-slide cores can be pulled at any angle, in any direction, to provide complex die castings to keep tooling costs at a minimun. Techmire has machines operating in more than 30 countries.

Multiple Slide Technology
A 'multiple-slide' hot chamber die-casting machine has two or more independently movable slides. Up to four slides is common, and as many as six slides are possible. The mating faces of the die blocks are held together by a clamping system, and injection of the molten metal is made perpendicular to the mating faces of the die blocks ('parting line injection'). Because injection takes place directly on the parting line, there is no sprue. Also, the various mechanical devices necessary to cast complex parts in a conventional die-casting machine can be eliminated by using the additional slides of a multiple-slide machine. Part-to- part consistency is improved and tool cost is reduced. Tooling:
