STI, 100% Canadian owned and operated, is part of the Sussex
Communications Group, in business since 1988. The senior
management of the Group has been involved in the
telecommunications industry for many years, and therefore, has
gained extensive experience in the telecommunications field.
Sussex is one of few Canadian companies with a swipe license for
calling cards.

Sussex Telecom Inc. offers quality customer service to its
clients. Each account has a dedicated account representative,
who personally handles the clients needs and requests, from
activation and deactivation requests, to rate changes, to
coordinating specialized prompts and programming requirements.
We have customer service representatives available on a 7 x 16
basis, to answer any questions your subscribers may have
regarding their cards and accounts on our three platforms.
Technicians are available on site, ten hours per day, five days
per week; at night and on weekends, the technical staff is on
call.
Our call centre is bilingual, offering service in English and
French. The current hours of operation are 8 a.m. EST to 12
a.m. EST, 7 days per week. The STI call centre operates on an
industry standard response of 80/20.
All customer service agents are trained on individual program
particulars, in both classroom and on-the-job training
situations, for each program supported by STI. Agents are
capable of handling card or rate inquiries, make balance
adjustments, re-charge cards, and examine card call detail.

Local Business Lines
Reduce your business line costs. Sussex Local Lines are
available in major centres nationwide. This service includes an
incredible 'anytime' long distance & toll free rate in North
America, and superior rates to international destinations. These
lines come loaded with features: -Calling Line ID -Call Forward
ALL -Call Forward Busy -Call Forward NO Answer -Call Waiting -
Call Transfer -3-Way Conference Calling -Speed Call 8 -Line
Hunting -Toll Restriction -Touch Tone Dial. Existing call
features and operator services are not affected & there is no

Internet: Dial-up
Sussex Internet Service is a low cost, fast & reliable way to
get connected & stay connected to the Internet. The service is
available nationwide with local access numbers in major centres
across Canada. You can ride the Internet wave for as long as you
wish. This service includes: 5 Mbs of personal web space, 5 Mbs
of e-mail storage and 24hr support. Only $19.95 per month for
Long Distance customers, $22.95 per month otherwise.
Internet: High Speed
Sussex High Speed Internet Service is a low cost, fast reliable
way for your business to get connected and stay connected to the
Internet. This service is available in major centres nationwide,
with several ADSL or SDSL packages & the connection is
guaranteed to maintain a 70% bandwidth! Some features include
unlimited web transfer, 8 IP addresses, a choice of 4 speeds
including a quantity of e-mails & web storage size relevant to

Fax-to-email
Sussex Long Distance offers a great solution for your fax woes.
Receive alll your faxes through your email. There is never a
busy signal. All faxes are received through our servers &
delivered directly to your email account. Faxes are available
wherever you have email. Provides privacy, security, flexibility
& convenience. Works at a fraction of the cost of a dedicated
conventional fax line; eliminate the requirement of a fax line
with no fax machine to maintain either. Great for travellers.
This is how it works: you are assigned a unique fax number with
a local area code from a choice of 5 cities (Vancouver:604,
Calgary:403, Toronto:416, Ottawa:613, Montreal:514. Clients &
associates send you faxes as before. Faxes are received by our
fax servers & converted to images. Fax images are sent to the
email account of your choice as attachments. You read, store,
forward your faxes using your current email program. No special
software required.
Fax-to-Email service costs $6.95 for up to 150 pages per month.
Additional pages are at 5 per page additional.
This service can be further complemented by adding one of the
following services to send faxes: Email-to-Fax (no broadcast
capability), Desktop Fax (up to 5,000 broadcast capability), or
Broadcast Fax (over 5,000 broadcast capability). Never tie up
your computer to send faxes to anywhere in the world. These
services are priced per page per location sent with no monthly
