Styropan Concrete Formwork Insulation Pannels
The Styro rail Concrete Formwork Insulation Pannels offer an alternative to the traditional insulation of the foundations. Placed in the traditional formwork before the pour of the concrete, the insulated pannels are in perfect contact with the concrete. The insulation offer an incredibly dry and comfortable space while reducing the energy consumption.
The versatile system is conceived for inside or outside insulation. The panels are used to insulate the foundations, the walls of residential constructions, commercial and agricultural constructions.
When the panels are placed INTERIOR SIDE, the insulation and the concrete form only one element. There is no air space between the concrete and insulation where the water vapor can condensate. This process eliminates the moulds and the odors which are often finds in a basement or a space not isulated or not well isulated. Moreover, insulated from the interior side, the interior completion is largely simplified.
When the panels are placed EXTERIOR SIDE, the insulation and the concrete form also only one element. The advantage of the insulation on this side results mainly from the profits of heat offered by the thermal mass of the concrete. Indeed, the concrete stores ambient energy and when the temperature falls, he has the property to give again this energy. There can thus be variations in the ambient temperature without having the system of heating/air-conditioning to provide any efforts to control these variations.
