The beautiful St Mary's River on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia has been a destination for avid salmon anglers since the last century. Sherbrooke, standing astride the river, is now the home of a model village depicting early Canadian life along this rugged Maritime coastline. Now tourist and fishermen alike enjoy the unspoiled environment and heritage of this 19th century 'Nova Scottish' settlement.
Today, Sherbrooke is home to St Mary's River Smokehouses. At St Mary's we pride ourselves in the quality of our products as well as the quality of our service.
All orders, are handled in a professional manner and followed up with sales support long after delivery has been made.
After starting out in 1996 as a 2500 square foot facility we have now grown to be one of the most modern salmon smoking facilities in Canada. Our 13, 000 square foot production facility is located 2 hours east of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We currently have the capacity to produce 40, 000 pounds of product per month and will continue to expand as needed.
