Slotted Spring Pins (components)
Precision Shims And Stampings
These custom-engineered components are produced to your exact
requirements. Proprietary SWAT (Stamping Without A Tool)
technology eliminated tooling costs. Complete in-house secondary
operations permit total control over quality, delivery and cost.
The shim product line also includes laminated and edge-bonded
shims, laminated shim stock, and a standard line of pump shims,
lock washers, bearing cup shims and locking plates.
Coiled Spring Pins
Easily recognized by its unique 2-1/4 coil cross-section, it is
the only spring pin with uniform strength and flexibility after
insertion. The direction of the applied load is immaterial.
Driven into the hole, it becomes a shock absorber. Available in
three duties to provide a variety of combinations of strength,
flexibility and diameter to suit different holes and materials.
Spacers
Manufactured by the most economical production method, roll
forming from strip, the spacers are featured with butted seams
and square burr-free ends. All are available in standard sizes
and materials, reducing the purchase cost.
Dowel Bushings/Alignment Dowels/Tension Sleeves
Roll-formed and heat-treated, bushings and dowels are designed
for precision alignment. The bushings provide an inside diameter
clearance allowing passage of a bolt for fastening. Tension
sleeves, made from low carbon steel, provide a wear resistance
surface in plastic or other soft material. Both the chamfered
ends and the staggered seam allow for problem free installation.
Tubular Rivets And Connectors
The most economical method of manufacturing rivets, roll forming
from strip, reduces costs and permits lower prices. These rivets
have straighter shanks than conventional rivets for faster,
easier assembly.
Connectors are rolled from strip steel and heat-treated for
flexibility and strength. The inside diameter is controlled to
allow for a press fit on mating parts. The ends are flared and a
center stop is provided on the inside.
Compression Limiters For Plastic
Compression limiters are designed to protect the plastic
components of an assembly from the compressive loads generated by
tightening of the bolts. The compression limiters come in both
metric and imperial sizes.
