Company Overview

SIRDO Canada is a new corporation determined to do its part to help clean up the pollution of fresh water and provide sanitation facilities for the poor rural people of developing countries.

SIRDO Canada operates under a license agreement with Grupo de Tecnologia Alternativa (GTA) of Mexico to market and manufacture the Sirdo Sanitation Systems, a proven technology designed for hot Climates, providing the 'integral organic waste recycling system' (Sirdo).

SIRDO Canada has concentrated its full efforts from conception two and a half years ago to the development and implementation of Guadalupe Lake Project. The Guadalupe Lake Project is viewed as a prototype project. As a result of it's success, the concept and methods will be utilized to help other areas of Mexico and parts of the world, which so desperately need help to clean up their water and pollution.

The Dry Sirdo unit has been designed for the family, to provide sanitation and stop the spread of deadly diseases that have been killing their children and elderly. The Sirdo unit gives a family a sense of dignity and pride, while generating a biofertilizer, that the family can use to grow better crops for their own consumption. Each unit cost $400.00 for the unit, installation and training to use and maintain the Sirdo unit. The recipient families are grateful and prepared to pay $N40.00 new pesos ($6.70 Cdn.) per month for 5 years to cover the cost. This repayment will be utilized to supply another needy family with a Sirdo unit. Originally, funds will be donated from various charitable organizations, until we can prove to international agencies, like the World Bank, that the families of developing countries are capable of repaying the debt for sanitation facilities.
