Frontier Communications
Frontier Broadband
Frontier Communications is the marketing and sales arm of
Sinewave Telecom, Inc.'s wireless broadband service designed and
operating in predominantly rural areas near the City of
Belleville, Ontario. Where networks are involved,Frontier
provides the same service to Sinewave Networks, Inc. The
primary markets for this low-cost service are SO/HO's,
institutions, SME's, and low volume users such as agriculture
and private individuals. This solution is expressly for remote,
isolated and rural regions of Canada. The service presently
provides broadband to 200 customers, though this number is
expected to increase to 800 in the next year. Sinewave Telecom,
Inc. can install this service anywhere, at a total cost
including marketing of about $ 500,000, with coverage of about
500 square kilometers, configured generically as a hexagon of
relay towers and one network access point.
