Simpler Networks is the technology leader driving the automation of copper distribution frames in central offices and street cabinets. Its products enable local service providers to deploy advanced services competitively, accelerate revenues and reduce costs.
Simpler Networks technology eliminates the challenges associated with the last mile. The inability to manage the local copper loop is the ultimate roadblock to the effective delivery of new services, such as the Triple Play: VoIP, high-speed data and VoD. The current bottleneck stems from the fact that the use, maintenance and management activities associated with the copper loop are still done manually at the main distribution frame (MDF) and the remote Serving Area Interface (SAI) box.

With several competitors offering similar services, Simpler Networks solutions will provide service providers with the ability to differentiate themselves by offering on-demand services. In order to achieve this, they need to have a fully automated network which can only be achieved by extending the concept of flow-through to include the physical layer. Indeed, using a unique and proprietary micro-relay technology based on MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) that is 200 times smaller than conventional relays, Simpler Networks solutions offer automated flow-through provisioning for any new services, and come with a full suite of tools for loop management, testing and record keeping.

Simpler Networks is the first company to offer an automated distribution frame (ADF) based on MEMS technology. Its solution is faster, more flexible, more reliable and more scalable than anyone else in the industry.
