SIMAR - DACON inc. engineers, conceives and manufactures various conveying systems for the bulk handling of raw materials, mainly for the aggregates industry (quarries, mines, sand & gravel plants).

Our companys strength is built on a foundation of 40 years of hands on experience in the conception, engineering & fabrication of conveyors systems for bulk handling applications. Our engineering department designs using AUTOCAD 2000 for Windows.

Our 20, 000 ft manufacturing facility situated on the south shore of Montreal P. Quebec is fully equipped with 4 overhead cranes, shear, press brake, milling machine and several welding machines. Because of our continuous efforts to improve the quality of our products, we are a certified member of the CANADIAN WELDING BUREAU, W47.1 Division 3.

  SIMAR-DACON makes all steel conveyor belt screw take-ups ruggedly constructed to give years of trouble free service. The screw is made of heavy duty Acme thread which is fully protected and is always in tension regardless of the direction of the load. The saddles are adjustable for all sizes of pillow blocks (2 or 4 bolt hole type). These units are available in three types: Medium duty, Heavy duty or Extra heavy duty.
