SiliCycle: Ultra Pure Silica Gels for chromatography, TLC Plates and over 100 functionalized silica gels are manufactured at Silicycle using unique and specialized methods. Our novel silica immobilized scavengers and reagents are powerful tool for organic synthesis and chromatography. Significant benefits derive from a non-swelling solid phase, broad solvent compatibility, pH stability, high scavenging capacity/unit volume and low non-specific binding.

Pre-packed Cartridges for flash chromatography
These Functionalized Silica Gels can be used as insoluble supports for solid phase syntheses, as scavengers, catalysts or reagents. The main advantages offered by these materials are their simple reaction conditions (add the solid and stir or pass the solution through a column) and their brief work-up procedure (filter) that can save you purification step, time and money!
These functions can be anchored onto spherical silica gel for use in cartridges or columns. Your specific needs can be addresses upon request.

Spherical Silica Gels with 70 and 150 A pore diameters are ideally suited for normal phase chromatography (HPLC and LPLC) of lipid soluble organic molecules, small organic compounds and natural or synthetic chemicals.
For separation of medium size peptides and large proteins, spherical gels with larger pore size (300 and 800 A) are preferable.
A 10um particule size is best suited for application requiring higher resolution and 15um particules offer the best price/performace ratio. Larger particle sizes (20um and over) are well suited for LPLC.
Thin-Layer Chromatography is an extremely practical and cost- effective tool used to determine the best media and solvent system for other chromatography modes (LC, CC and HPCL).
