Atlantic Canada. We quarry and process industrial aggregate
products, process and package cat litter and oil absorbents,
manufacture Eastern Embers Premium Wood Pellet Fuel,
and distribute flyash. We operate in industrial, government,
commercial and consumer markets, providing over 200 products.

Industrial & Specialized Aggregates
Filtration Media
Rich reserves, quality processing and technical expertise have
helped Shaw Resources become the major supplier of filtration
sand and stone for Eastern Canada's water and waste water
treatment industry.
Golf Course Materials
From construction and renovation using root zone and custom
blends, to regular maintenance with top dressings and bunker
sands, Shaw Resources is a leading provider of golf course
aggregate products to many of Canada's east coast courses.
Absorbents
Shaw Resources processes and packages cat litter, primarily
under private labels, and processes and packages two brands of
oil absorbent used in cleaning up minor spills.
Blasting Abrasives
Shaw Resources provides silica blasting sand as well as grits in
a variety of sizes, in both bagged and bulk form.
Wood Pellet Fuel
Shaw Resources produces wood pellet fuel for both residential
and industrial use. Both hardwood and softwood pellets are
produced from two plants.
Landscape Aggregate
We offer a variety of aggregate products for home and commercial
landscaping, including brick and marble chips, natural stone of
varying sizes, pelletized dolomitic lime and premium white play
sand.
Fly Ash
Shaw Resources markets and distributes fly ash to the ready-mix
industry in partnership with Nova Scotia Power. Inc.
