The principle shareholder in all of Star Group companies is Peter Potetsianakis, President, who has been continuously associated with the janitorial and house-keeping industry for almost 30 years. In 1986, the firm purchased the office building at 352 Danforth Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario and it remains the headquarters of Service Star Building Cleaning and all of the Star Group international companies to this day.

Most of our specialized services are operated by our own forces, and with our own equipment. Subcontractors are only used in the event of abnormal time restrictions, deadlines or other extenuating circumstances.

2- Service Star is fully experienced and equipped to give complete carpet care.
3- Service Star is fully equipped with its own Ride-On sweepers and trailers to sweep/clean garage and parking areas of all dimensions.
4- Service Star has its own fleet of trucks, vans and passenger vehicles not only for the purpose of transporting its own abundant supplies of equipment and material; but also for our Clients use should any particular purpose warrant it.
5- Service Star owns a number of light and heavy-duty equipment;
although on occasion, we do engage in short and long term leases of equipment to serve as a temporary replacement, or certain equipment that may be considered a specialty item. We also employ our own team of qualified technicians who regularly service and maintain all equipment.
6- Service Star can provide grounds maintenance.
7- Service Star can also provide porters, movers, and complete in house mail delivery.
