The firm was established in the 1950s and has offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Fredericton, New Brunswick, with a staff complement of over 70 individuals.

Project drawings are prepared utilizing top end computer workstations and AutoCAD drawing and design software. All computers are networked via a Local Area Network (LAN) which provides office e-mail, and in addition, Internet e-mail by dedicated connection of the LAN to an Internet Gateway by means of the SNC-Lavalin Wide Area Network (WAN).
