SimEx is headquartered in Toronto with offices in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka, London and Lisbon. SimEx is a pioneer in creating special venue entertainment for group audiences featuring large format film, simulation technology and themed environments. SimEx launched in 1984 when it created and built 'Tour of the Universe' at the CN Tower in Toronto. Since then its innovative experiences have been installed at thirty locations worldwide, and include: American Wilderness Zoo and Aquarium in Los Angeles, Dallas and Phoenix; New York Skyride at the Empire State Building; Journey to Jupiter at NASA's US Space and Rocket Center; Le Cinaxe at Parc de la Villete, Paris; StarGeo's Speed Journey at the Samsung Children's Safety Museum; Sea Trek in Toronto, Lisbon, Dublin and Tokyo and MARS at Museums and Science Centres in Vancouver, Sudbury, Ottawa and San Diego. SimEx has eight themed experiences in production for release in 1998 and
multi-programmable and feature both 2D and 3D 70mm film technology.

Hardware- SimEx is the only company that offers all the products and services needed for a complete attraction using electric simulators. With the addition of the new 18-seat, 6 DOF open platform simulator, exhibitors can now choose from 10 different models of electric motion simulators- the largest selection in the industry allowing clients of all sizes and shapes and budgets to choose the attraction best suited to their needs. Software - SimEx offers more than 20 different adventure stories targeted at both the entertainment and educational markets. The wide choice of stories includes under-sea explorers, space travelers, nature adventurers, road racers.... At the heart of the attraction is the SimEx motion stimulator, motion cued to a large-format, 70 mm film. SimEx offers a serier of 10 electric motion systems ranging from 6 to 50 seats. With sophisticated projection system, up to three different story programs can be stored on one reel. and they can be accesssed in any order.
