SDI Aviation

SDI AVIATION designs, manufactures, distributes and supports
the SUPERIOR line of aviation ground support equipment (GSE).
SUPERIOR, a well-known brand name associated with GSE - and
more specifically aircraft ground deicers - was purchased by
privately held Nackawic Mechanical Ltd. (NML) in August of
1992. The intellectual property and physical assets of the
former U.S. company were transferred to NML's modern
manufacturing facility at Nackawic, New Brunswick, Canada.

Founded in 1973 by journeyman machinist David A. Young, NML has
long been a leader in the structural steel fabrication;
material handling and transportation industries. Serving the
pulp & paper; mining and aggregate industries throughout North
America, NML has earned an excellent reputation for its superb
workmanship and dedicated customer service. While the
manufacturing of aviation equipment has, in recent years,
become its core activity NML continues to serve the needs of
the aforementioned industries. NML's diversity has allowed it
to remain strong during often difficult, industry-specific
periods.

Since 1992, SDI AVIATION has manufactured in excess of 150
deicer units. And, we continue to support the more than 400
deicers built by our predecessors. Now in its fifteenth year of
manufacturing ground support equipment, SDI AVIATION has built a
customer base that spans the globe. We continuously strive to
improve our product line with innovative features that provide
the industry with reliable, efficient and affordable GSE.
Customers include major and regional airlines; ground services
providers; aircraft manufactures; couriers; FBO's and airport
authorities. Military customers include the United States Army,
United States Air National Guard and the UK Royal Air Force.
Commercial customers include Air France;
Asiana Airlines; Boeing; Bombardier; Continental
Express; DHL Worldwide Express; Horizon Air; Pakistani International Airlines; Raytheon Aircraft
Services; Southwest Airlines; United Airlines Express;
Worldwide Flight Services and many others.
