manufacturer of highly reliable, high performance Switch Mode
Power Supplies (SMPS) for computer, peripheral, telecom,
instrumentation and medical applications. Established in 1973,
the Company now exports about 80% of production, much of it to
major multinationals for use around the world.
SAE Power Company specializes in compact, high
performance, high frequency SMPS to 3KW with exceptional field
reliability and advanced technology. Drawing on its broad
experience and proven topologies, SAE Power offers design,
application and specification assistance in selecting an
appropriate standard, modified standard or full custom approach.
Available features include Power Factor Correction (high
efficiency, fixed frequency, resonant transition designs
complying with IEC555-2), automatic AC line voltage selection or
full-range operation, fast and efficient Magnetic Amplifiers,
Current-Mode control, high frequency resonant conversion (fixed
or variable frequency and multi-resonant, to beyond 1 MHz),
modular hot plugging and redundant current sharing systems, and
specialized monitoring/control interfaces. Continuing design
innovation improves density, efficiency, reliability and
performance.
SAE Power Company offers in-house safety approvals, BABT 340 and
ISO9001 approved process, MRP, Martin Marietta
workmanship standards and SPC. SAE Power products have
exceptional field reliability and service life, exhibiting field
DMTBF to beyond 3,000,000 hours.
