Rockwell Automation Canada Ltd
Manufacturer of automation equipment.
Automation is Rockwell's largest business. With our family of
strong brands - Allen-Bradley, Reliance Electric, Dodge and
Rockwell Software - we're a global industry leader with $4.5
billion in annual sales.
Rockwell Automation's customers manufacture, move, and process
products in industries including transportation, forest
products, metals, petroleum and mining, consumer products and
entertainment. Our goal is to provide these companies with
greater manufacturing flexibility and efficiency. This requires
automation products that are increasingly smaller, smarter and
more interpretable.
With more than 500,000 different automation products, including
logic controls, operator interfaces, motors, drives, sensors,
software, and mechanical power transmission products, Rockwell
Automation can identify the best automation solutions to meet
customers' specific needs.
Responsiveness, combined with technological vision, is what made
Rockwell Automation a world leader in automation solutions. It's
also what makes Rockwell Automation customers some of the most
successful companies in the world.
Allen-Bradley has a broad selection of application-specific
components, or packaged solutions, for process control, motion
control, plastics machinery control, machine transfer lines and
assembly control, stamping press control, linear hydraulic
positioning control, and hydraulic force control.
Since 1904, Reliance Electric products have found a home in
plants, products and processes around the world. Reliance, a
Rockwell Automation business, produces motors, drives, controls,
drive systems and support services that have become the standard
in the industry. Products bearing a Reliance nameplate can be
found hard at work around the world, solving the toughest
automation problems.
Rockwell Software Inc., a Rockwell Automation Business, is the
world leader in development and support of software for the
automation marketplace. Formed in October 1994, Rockwell
Software's 300 employees operate from dual headquarters in
Highland Heights, Ohio, and West Allis, Wisconsin. These
locations are linked electronically to form a 'virtual campus'
that shares development, engineering, and marketing resources.
We are creating the future of industrial automation, bringing
new technologies to bear on the challenges of your industry.
Through our close association with our fellow Rockwell
Automation companies, Allen-Bradley and Reliance Electric, we
are discovering new ways to help you be more productive,
efficient, and effective in your job.

Training
Rockwell Automation Training courses give you and your staff the
knowledge to get the most out of your automation equipment
investment. We offer training in over 50 cities worldwide. Or,
consider the cost savings of on-site training for large groups.
We also offer savings programs that allow you to purchase
training for several students or several courses for a
discounted price.
Value-Plus training programs provide you with a number of ways
to maximize the value you get from every training dollar you
spend. With Value-Plus, the more you train, the more you save.
Value-Plus Training Programs are available for both Allen-
Bradley and Reliance Electric courses.
Tailored Training (Available for Allen-Bradley Products) A-B can
create unique on-site programs based on your installation,
focusing on your employees and their specific job tasks. Prior
to training, our staff reviews your needs. We analyze your
requirements, your equipment/installation, your time frame, the
tasks/skills your employees need to acquire and both the number
and skill levels of employees participating in the training. We
then design a course and create a student manual that reflects
your specific requirements. Tailored training offers you an
efficient, economically sound alternative to traditional
training programs. It can help maximize on-the-job performance,
while cutting down on time away from work. Students learn tasks
that will help improve their specific job performance and
overall skill levels.
Training Workstations (Allen-Bradley products)
Allen-Bradley Training Workstations provide you with
operational, hands-on, equipment for your training, engineering
and maintenance needs:
- As a 'training tool', the Workstations can provide students
with hands-on experience using actual equipment.
- As an 'engineering tool', the Workstations can provide users
with operational equipment for functions including application
simulations and prototyping operations.
- As a 'maintenance tool', the Workstations can be used to check
modules and practice troubleshooting.
