Hercules Power Transmission Project(350 km of 400 kV single circuit transmission line, 160 km of 230 kV double circuit, five substations) Salamanca Power Transmission Project (230 km of 400 kV single circuit four substations) La Pila Power Transmission Project (190 km of 115 kV double circuit, two sections of 230 kV double circuit and two substations. The project includes the expansion of 11 substations. For this project, RSW provides technical assistance for the construction phase, detail engineering, technology transfer, quality control and optimization studies.
Proj: MALANA HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT Pays: Inde Contribution:
After reviewing the feasibility report in 1994, RSW was mandated, in 1998, to provide complete detail engineering, preparation of bid documents, supervision of civil, mechanical and electrical works, technical assistance, technical training, construction scheduling and technology transfer.
Proj: MASJED-E-SOLEYMAN & KARKHEH HYDROELECTRIC PROJECTS Pays: Iran Contribution:
In 1998, Farab Co. for Iran Water and Power Resources Development Co. mandated RSW to provide supervision of the detail engineering for the design and construction of two power plants in Iran Masjed-e-Soleyman (1000 MW) and Karkheh (400 MW)
Proj: NORTHEAST CHINA POWER TRANSMISSION PROJECT Pays: Chine Contribution:
Construction of the Northeast Power Transmission Project in China (500 kV). For this project, RSW provides technical assistance for reviewing and analysing technical, economic, financial environmental, resettlement and institutional aspects of the project and preparatory to a project loan by the Asian Development Bank.
Proj: REHABILITATION OF MACHU-PICCHU POWERHOUSE Pays: Prou Contribution:
Located in Peru, near Machu Picchu ruins, the hydroelectric development was flooded from an avalanche proviked by El Nino currents. For this project, RSW provides study of powerhouse rehabilitation alternatives, study of mechanical and electrical systems repair, modification of hydraulic way to increase the nominal flow and addition of a new sand trap.
Proj: RIO LAJAS MINI-HYDRO DEVELOPMENT Pays: Costa Rica Contribution:
The Rio Lajas Hydroelectric project consists int he water retention of Lajas, Guayabo and Torrito rivers for hydroelectric generation. In 1996, RSW was mandated to provide detailed engineering of civil works and HVAC systems of the powerhouse and technical assistance during construction
