Company Overview
Two sales engineers from Hewlett Packard John Riddell and Roger Teolis formed Omnitronix in May 1971. The objective of this young company was to market and sell electronics to Government, Industry and Education.
In 1975 Leader Electronics Corporation appointed Omnitronix as their Exclusive Canadian Agent. Today almost 25 Years later we continue as Leader's sole Canadian Agent.
Different business agendas led to the company's division in 1996. The Montreal and Toronto locations are now two completely separate entities.
RHC & Associates Inc./Omnitronix objective remains unchanged and that is to market and sell technical products to Government, Industry and Education. We maintain an office, warehouse and service facility in Mississauga, Ontario and a sales office in Western Canada. Our customers are located in Ontario, the four Western Provinces and the Territories. Our commitment remains unchanged; to offer total support to our customers and for our suppliers.
RHC & Associates Inc./Omnitronix now represents a variety of suppliers located in Asia, Europe, USA and Canada. Our major product lines include AEMC, Davenport, Kyoritsu, Kyowa, Leader, Lloyd, Minolta, Rustrak, Shimpo, Tektronix and Video Accessory Corporations. We have had to change our company's direction over the years. General test and measurement has levelled off as many competitors have entered this shrinking market. We have had to become specialists; the company is now divided into three divisions. They are Video/Electronics, Industrial Electrical/Electronic Maintenance and Material Science/Quality Control. A brief description follows:
Video/Electronics The customers sold to are National Service (Sony, Panasonic, etc.), Professional Video Product Dealers, Electronic Distributors, Broadcasters, Cable Operators, Post Production Houses, Video Product Manufacturers, Video, A/V Department and Electronic Departments in Education and Telecom Service Departments.
Industrial Electrical/Electronic Maintenance The customers sold to are Electrical/Industrial Distributors, Manufacturers of Electrical Equipment, Automotive Manufacturers, Electrical and Gas Utilities and large users of Electricity such as Mining, Metal Producers, and Pulp and Paper, etc.
Material Science/Quality Control The customers sold to are Civil, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering Departments at Universities and Research Centres, Quality Control and Research Departments within Industry and Government who want to measure the mechanical and optical parameters of their products. Examples of these industries would be automotive, food, plastics and pulp and paper, etc.
Canada is geographically very large, thinly populated and technically advanced. RHC & Associates Inc./Omnitronix works very diligently with its customers and suppliers to ensure that the company's goals are shared and met, everyone will prosper in the future.
