Quinn Contracting is an Alberta-based company initially founded
in 1970 to provide construction and inspection services. We now
cater to the largest oil, gas and petrochemical producers
currently operating within the Canadian market. We have provided
specialized services to companies recognized as Canadian industry
leaders within their respective fields.
The company has expanded its operations to become ranked as one
of Canada's top 100 contractors.
Our company's primary activities include plant maintenance,
turnaround services, engineering, procurement and construction.
Quinn Contracting has completed projects throughout Canada with
most of our activities concentrated in Western Canada. On a
day-to-day basis, our average number of employees ranges from 450
to 500; our peak workforce in the past 3-year period has reached
over 1200 employees.
A comprehensive range of supporting services supplements our core
activities. These include shop fabrication, scaffolding
services, property management, quality control, fleet management
and technical support software programs.
Quinn Contracting Ltd. offers a full spectrum of services from a
single point of contact for all requirements. Existing alliances
with vendors and suppliers supplement our service base with
worldwide expertise.
Major clients have included Husky Oil, Gulf Canada, Shell, NOVA
Chemicals, Union Carbide, Methanex and Amoco.
Current Geographic Marketing Activity
The company's current marketing activity has been focused on
Western Canada, attending several conferences and participating
in marketing oil and gas shows.
Marketing Strategy
In the past, Quinn Contracting Ltd. has attempted overseas sales
on a sporadic basis in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the United
States. The company is interested in and committed to pursuing
and developing sales internationally. QCL is presently involved
in a joint venture in Thailand and has identified priority
markets in Trinidad and Venezuela.
