QUELAB LABORATORIES INC., a Canadian-owned company, founded in 1974, manufacturers Dehydrated Culture Media, prepared culture media (plates, tubes, flasks, etc.) and Diagnostic Products (kits, stains, supplement, animal blood products.) QUE-BACT products for microbiology are used in clinical laboratories, food-industries, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, biotechnologies, universities, environmental and microbiological basic research.
QUELAB has particular emphasis on the development and production of microbiological products for basic research, clinical diagnostic, in vitro fertilization and food and pharmaceutical industries quality control.
QUELAB markets under its own or other manufacturers' labels:
diagnostic tests kits, laboratories supplies and equipment. QUELAB has its own sales force in Quebec and Ontario and work thru sub-dealer in the Maritimes and Western Provinces.
Its export market has recently started to South American countries. Quelab has "niched" into a few complementary areas such as media preparation system and patented air purified hoods for laboratories.
