On a regular basis, Quantum is asked to become a partner in developing a product or process for the client. This function ranges from product fit/form/function, to complete factory/production layout, incorporating automation.
The Quantum Heat Bond Tabber is the most cost efficient and productive pull tab applicator to date. Typical applications for the HBT are in the automotive body side molding industry, automotive and industrial component production, and general pull tab applications.
Quantum designs and manufactures custom Liquid Adhesive application systems and robotics. These units are provided to all facets of industrial manufacturing, including aircraft/aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, and general industrial manufacturing.
Quantum is experienced in a wide variety of adhesives, from single component types such as industrial CA's, to two part epoxy's and structural bonding materials, and gasket/foam agents.
Quantum manufactures the Q-8000 Series automated adhesive tape application units and systems. Our Q-8000 systems apply both single and double sided bonding tapes, including die cuts. Typically onto aircraft components, automotive body side moldings, trim, extrusions, automotive components and accessories.
Our Q-8000 systems are also used in general industrial manufacturing, and consumer goods manufacturing. We also provide custom automated application systems and robotic systems.
The Quantum Q-8000 CNC welder is designed to accommodate both projection welds, and spot welds. We design specific tooling to locate an array of components, weld in the x-y axis', and check the integrity of the weld prior to releasing the components.
Options include, automatic nut feeding, thread checking, pick and place component removal, post welding thread checking, nut tapping, and reject component isolation.
Quantum manufactures a high speed magazined tape splicing system for single, double, or non-coated film and tapes, including foam acrylic tapes. The units are provided as per each customers' requirements, and fitted with multiple tape creels per request. The base model uses 10 creels.
These units are designed to work in conjunction with extrusion lines, and general tape/film application systems. They may be integrated with a Quantum slitter, to reduce purchased tape slitting costs.
