Used to determine full operating parameters and optimization parameters to purify groundwater or plant process water to specification. Fully automated and equipped for a variety of applications and locations.
Photo-Cat(R) systems destroy organic pollutants in water. A light activated titanium dioxide (TiO2) catalyst is used to destroy organics contaminants of concern. The treatment process is similar to thermal catalytic processes except that the TiO2 catalyst uses light rather than heat to be activated; consequently, the process is extremely energy efficient. The system operates at ambient temperatures and pressures. It can also operate at elevated temperatures and pressures to meet the clients process requirements. 'Permitted' systems have been supplied to operate in wet environments, nuclear environments, and environments with an explosion hazards.
Benefits of Photo-Cat(R) water treatment systems include simplicity, low operating and maintenance costs, and the ability to treat turbid or opaque fluids directly with no pretreatment. The robustness of the process is seen in the established field histories. Systems run autonomously and only require annual maintenance.
