Promark Tool & Mfg. was established in 1971 as a tool & die making shop with a secondary product line of metal stampings. Within the first few years, the demand for quality metal stampings changed our focus towards providing medium to high volume production runs in metal stamping and simple mechanical assembly. Our major customers during this time were IBM, Xerox, NCR, Canadian General Electric. During the 1970's we concentrated on building a reputation for quality in tooling and production parts, expanded our capabilities to include a number of different materials and assembly levels. Since the early 1980s we have increased our customer base to include such technology-based corporations as Northern Telecom, Siecor Corporation (now Corning Cable Systems), Psion Teklogix, and SGI. Since the late 1970s, we have been using Statistical Process Control to ensure the consistency of the quality of our product. Since inception, we have expanded our geographic sales regions to include the U. S., Mexico, Europe and the Far East. In 1993 we achieved ISO 9002 Quality System registration, which was upgraded to the ISO 9001 standard in 2003. Our production equipment is upgraded regularly; our Quality Control equipment is of the most current technology. We are fully capable of receiving and sending part drawing files electronically, using the SolidWorks CAD system. We are EDI capable for sending and receiving any documents our customers may require. We have a fully integrated business software system which covers all aspects of order entry, scheduling, costing and accounting functions.
