Pound-Maker Agventures Ltd.
Pound-Maker Agventures Ltd. is Canada's first integrated
feedlot/fuel ethanol facility. PMA was established in 1970 as a
2500 head cattle feedlot. In 1990, the ethanol plant came on
line and the feedlot capacity was increased to 18,000 head. With
further expansion, PMA has a current one-time capacity of 29,000
head. Plant production is 12,000,000 litres of ethanol fuel.
