reliability, critical service applications including public
safety communications systems (E9-1-1), communications
protection for high voltage environments, integrated radio and
telephone communications consoles. Established in 1970,
Positron's corporate headquarters and 16, 000 sq. ft. (14, 864
sq. m.) manufacturing facilities, are located in Montreal.
Positron's U.S. sales headquarters are in Atlanta, with six
sales
support offices across the United States.
Positron systems operate throughout North America and around the
world including Asia, South America the Middle East, and Europe.
Virtually all major U.S. telephone companies and power utilities
have standardized on Positron products.
Positron has recently been registered ISO 9001.
The company is a recipient of the Canada Export Award and has
received awards for leadership in developing new technologies
from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
(IEEE), as well as the Award of Excellence from the City of
Montreal.

CRITICAL COMMUNICATIONS PROTECTION (TELELINE ISOLATOR)

lightening. Over the last 20 years the Teleline Isolator

types of telephone applications and line interfaces. Today,

INTEGRATED TELEPHONE/RADIO COMMUNICATIONS CONSOLE (TRCC)
The TRCC integrates telephone and radio communications into a
single console. Features include patching, paging, queuing, and
customized programming of lines. The TRCC is used by power
utilities, comminities, and government agencies such as the
North American Air Defence Command (NORAD), the U.S. Air Force,
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and the U.S.
Department of Energy.
9-1-1 Emergency Response
Positron engineers and manufactures public safety emergency
response systems and currently has 3000 installations in
operation around the world.
