Pest Management
Semiochemicals
Attraction pheromones lure pest insects to traps and sample populations. They have also been used to disrupt insect mating activity and reduce reproductive success.
Repellants now available for selected pests in forestry
Antiaggregation semiochemicals reverse the mass attack signal many pests use. This causes insects to attack elsewhere.
