St-Paul Fisheries (1989) Ltdwas founded in March of 1989 by 10 Acadian fishermen with the desire to process and market their fish. They purchased an existing fish plant in Bas-Caraquet, N. B. As of 1997, the 16 fishermen owners of St-Paul Fisheries (1989) Ltd own a fleet of modern 65 ft midshore vessels. They share a vaste experience in catching and landing of high quality; snow crab, ground fish and herring.
The company has a modern and efficient production line as well as a Fisheries and Oceans Canada approved quality control program. The management is presently implementing ISO 9002 & HACCP Standard as well. St-Paul Fisheries (1989) Ltd is managed by a very competent staff of fish processing professionals with 15 or more years of experience in the processing of snow crab, lobster, herring and mackerel. The production is primarily oriented towards high quality using high tech cryogenic, air blast and plate freezing methods.
The company is always developing new products to meet the demands of its international markets.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES:
The marketing is done thru domestic and foreign brokers and trading houses in Japan and the U. S. A.
