Enseignes Imperial Signs (EIS) is a Canadian-owned company incorporated in New Brunswick since 1963. In September of 1998, EIS concluded a merger with The Jim Pattison Sign Group, which has operated as one of the premiere manufacturers of illuminated signage in the Canadian marketplace, dating back to the turn of the century. Also, the Jim Pattison Sign Group is the world's largest custom electrical Sign Company, employing over 800 people. With manufacturing facilities in seven (7) locations across Canada and service offices in a further 24 locations, The Jim Pattison Sign Group offers comprehensive coverage across Canada, with increasing sales in the United States as well as in Latin America and parts of Europe.

  In order to respond to the expanding demands of the National and International marketplace, EIS has established an installation network to provide complete and timely service in each of the regions and countries we serve. Individual companies are screened for their ability to do proper site surveys, secure permits, and provide feedback regarding local restrictions and special conditions. We also make sure that they possess the right equipment and knowledge to install any of our products and provide post-installation services. We also verify that they have the proper insurance, a good safety program, adequate fleet for the projected work; emergency responsiveness, professionalism and integrity, and the capacity to support our client programs within their geographic area. This guarantees that our clients get a final installation that maintains the quality of our products and ensures that all work has been done in accordance with all local regulations and requirements. Each installation team assigned by EIS is thoroughly screened in order to meet ISO 9001 standards. Consequently, a list of criteria must be met with a minimum score of 69%, but an excess of 80% is preferred.

Maintenance of the sign is our responsibility. We carry liability and property damage insurance on the sign. At the end of the term, the contract may be renewed of the sign may be changed to reflect the new marketplace.

• Spectacular Signs

  This spectacular architectural Pepsi Sign located on the Torre Polar II in the Plaza de Venezuela, Caracas is one of EIS and Consorcio S&P, their Venezuelan partners, most prestigious sign. This project was developed with State of the Art technology; the structure is exclusively constructed out of aluminium and consists of two elements; the ring, which is 22.50 meters in diameter (73.8 ft.) and 5.50 meters high, and a sphere of 16.50 meters (54 ft.) in diameter. The illumination of this gigantic sphere is controlled by a computer system, which regulates the 7 Kilometres of Fibre Optic animation.
