In August 1996, Patrick Plastics Inc. achieved ISO 9001:
1994 Certification as a result of teamwork throughout its organization. ISO was established in 1946 in Geneva with over 91 member nations having as its goal the development of internation standards. It is a framework for total quality management that covers development, production, installation and servicing of our products. Patrick Plastics Inc. is the only Co detector manufacturer in the world that is ISO 9001 certified.
Gas detectors manufactured by Patrick Plastics Inc. is using a sensor of solid state, reliable semi-conductor technology and go through a series of the most stringent calibration and quality testing procedures in compliance with UL standard in the States, CSA standard in Canada and CE standard in Europe. The excellent quality of S-TECH products is proven by the fact that two of our models were rated amongst the TOP THREE Carbon Monoxide Detectors by a popular consumers magazine in North America.
Since the inception of S-TECH safety products, they have been well accepted by retail outlets, gaz utilities, distributors of electrical/HVAC/construction in the States, Far East and Europe. In 1995 and 1996, almost 80% of our business were export sales.
