In 1978, United Mud Supply Ltd., a chemical distributor for the Canadian Drilling Fluid Industry, began a pallet-recycling depot in their Calgary, Alberta warehouse. Here, they would repair pallets purchased under a refundable deposit to be returned to chemical suppliers for credit.

In 1982, United Mud Supply Ltd. merged with Canamara Supply (1979) Ltd., also a wholesale chemical distributor for the Canadian Drilling Fluid Industry. The new name of the two merged companies became Canamara-United Supply Ltd. Today, that pallet recycling depot is now Pallets Unlimited, located in Innisfail, Alberta, and operates as a Division of Canamara-United Supply Ltd. Pallets Unlimited continues to repair pallets as our core business for Canamara-United Supply customers and suppliers. We also manufacture a wide range of sizes and styles of new pallets and crates for our valued customers. We are a member of the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association of Canada, and a Certified participant in the Canadian Wood Packaging Certification Program for wood packaging exports. Pallets Unlimited is also ISO 9001-2000 certified as of July 2003. In 2004, after being externally audited, Pallets Unlimited, along with it's Parent company and other divisions, was awarded a COR (Certificate of Recognition) for successfully implementing a documented Safety and Emergency Response Policy and Procedure system.
