P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp.
P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp. is the Klargester licensee for North and Central America and have been manufacturing these RBCs since 1983. Presently we have more than 1000 rotors installed; worldwide there are more than 40,000 Klargester RBCs in operation.
P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp. was established in 1973 and the founder, Peter Hannah is still active in its daily activities. Our head office is in the Vancouver suburb of Surrey and we have a branch office in the Toronto area suburb of Mississauga.
Our company presently has a number of dealers in the USA to which we export and we are expanding into Mexico where we have two Klargester installations, one treating municipal wastewater for the City of Puebla and the second treating a combination of domestic and industrial wastewater at an auto parts factory.
Our company can offer design and assistance and field supervision as well as teaming up with the owner and his contractor to provide a turn-key solution to sewage treatment.
We welcome inquiries for Canada, USA, Mexico and Central America to supply wastewater treatment equipment.

A Klargester Biodisc Custom Rbc Plant Manufactured By Their North American Licensee - P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp.
In both cases the answer was the use of a KLARGESTER BIODISC rotating biological contactor (RBC), manufactured by the North American licensee, P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp. Due to the second generation design of the Klargester RBC, these sewage treatment plants can be easily fabricated to meet a wide range of requirements. If fast delivery is a requirement, the fact that we have been building these Klargester RBC's for more than 15 years means that the major drawbacks have all been done. This eliminates continuously 're-inventing the wheel'. Sectional media packs enable easy and low-cost shipments of the media from the manufacturer to the assembly site. Similarly in the event of an emergency break down or repair requirement, this design enables us to do repairs in place, with a minimum of heavy equipment. This is especially important if the protective buildings cannot be removed. Of course, not every job has to be special. The same second generation RBC design contributes to a long and efficient life. RBCs are aerobic fixed film biological reactors designed for the biological treatment of waste water. The RBC process has been established and is particularly suitable where low operating costs and ease of operation are most important. The Klargester RBC (which was designed by Klargester Environmental Engineering in England) offers the widest range of sizes of any RBC manufacturer in the world. The RBC rotors vary in size from 0.9 m in diameter with 50m2 of media area to 4.5 m in diameter with 21,120 m2 of media area. An RBC is generally installed with a primary settling tank or screen in front of it and a final settling tank after it. For increased capacity several RBC rotors can be installed to increase the biological support area (media area). These are installations operation with 240 rotors at one site.

P.J. Hannah Net Cassette Tm.
Various sites in the United States have combined sewer outfalls, CSOs. These outfalls discharge 'floatables' into the receiving waters, polluting beaches and coastal areas.
P.J. HANNAH Equipment Sales Corp. provided our NET CASSETTE TM netting systems to capture floatables from the combined sewer system.
The system is also effective in removing floatables from storm sewer outfalls, clarifiers, and other industrial processes.
Retro-fit Treatment Facility With P.J. Hannah Rbc, Tertiary Filtration And Disinfection Equipment.
P.J. Hannah provided a turn-key wastewater treatment plant renovation which included the installation of a packaged RBC plant, conversion of existing concrete tankage to de-nitrification chamber and clarifiers. Added a multi-media tertiary filtration system complete with UV disinfection. The entire system was installed in a severely restricted site, without disruption to Pub / Restaurant operations.
