Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC for short) is a distributor of quality bicycles and bicycle accessories in Canada.
Mr. David Bowman is president of the company, there are two vice-presidents; Rob White, V. P. Sales and Jean Cloutier, V. P. Operations and Finance.
OGC started in business in 1978 by selling Kryptonite bicycle locks to retailers in Canada. Today OGC is the exclusive Canadian distributor for the following lines of bicycles; Gary Fisher (full range of mid to high-end mountain and hybrid bikes and Greg Lemond (high end road bikes).
Our main accessory lines are Answer products, Bell Helmets, Blackburn products, Bontrager components, Camelbak hydration systems, CoPilot, CycleOps trainers, Fisher Accessories, Geax tires, Giro helmets, Hayes Disk Brakes, Kryptonite locks, Manitou Forks, Mavic rims & components, Nike Cycling, Nike Cycling Apparel, Niterider Lights, Oasis products, Pedros lubricants, Profile components, RNH clothing, Saris racks Speedplay pedals, Vistalite products, Vittoria tires and Wrench Force tools & products.
In addition, OGC has developed its own line of road bikes (OPUS) and bicycle accessories using the OGC brand name in categories including wheels, gloves, packs, racks, lights, pumps and hand- built wheels.
Our strategy is to seek out the best-available product that can be sold at a fair price in key product categories.
If the best-available product does not meet our criteria, we will not carry a product in that category.
