Ophthalmic Technologies Inc.

Ophthalmic Technologies Inc. (OTI) of Toronto, Canada is a
company devoted to meeting the demand for competitively priced
products in the field of ophthalmology. Using advanced imaging
technology, paired with new therapeutic methods, we are
currently offering effective, easy-to-use endoscopy products.
We were very pleased to see the strong interest in microendoscopy
and its increased usage as a new approach for vitreo-retinal
surgery.

OTI's ophthalmic ultrasound products are based on a computer
platform, and produce exceptional images. OTI has the world's
first three dimensional ophthalmic ultrasound.

OTI has been in existence since 1993, and as a result of
attending international trade shows, we have established
distribution in most major markets throughout Europe, Asia
and North America. Working through distributors, our products
have been placed in some of the most highly respected hospitals
worldwide.

Our products meet the requirements of CSA, FDA and the European

Oti-scan 3d/B/A-scan Ophthalmic Ultrasound

Xe-lite Xenon Light Source
XE-LITE Xenon Light Source. This System provides pure, white light at a low temperature with no colour distortion. A high resolution microvideo camera is available for use with the i-SCOPE microendoscope for treatment of retinal disorders and ciliary body ablation or photocoagulation.

I-scope Microendoscope
i-SCOPE Microendoscope The OTI i-SCOPE is a high-resolution ophthalmic microendoscope that provides viewing, illumination and a working channel for 100 micron laser fibre. The laser fibre can be connected to most laser photocoagulators in the market and can be used serval times. The system is available with a single CCD video camera or a mini 3CCD high-resolution 750 line video camera as well as a very high resolution, (750line 14 in. or 19 in.) monitor. The microendoscope allows ophthalmic surgeons to perform vitreoretinal surgery on patients where microscope visualization control is suddenly or gradually lost during vitreoretinal surgery due to media opacification, corneal, lens/capsule or papillary problems that limit the visualization through a microscope. The endoscope also allows the ophthalmic surgeon to visualize and operate in the retroirido area which is difficult through the operating microscope. Centres which have been using the endoscope on these occasions, have reported that most of the time, endoscopy decreased O.R. time and decreased the need for many visually related surgical manoeuvre.

Hf35-50 High Frequency Ophthalmic Ultrasound
High Frequency Ophthalmic Ultrasound for Anterior Segment can be used as a Stand-Alone unit, or combined with the OTI-Scan for a Combo unit comprised of 3D/B/A-Scan for Posterior Segment, and High Frequency ultrasound for Anterior Segment. Available with optional 35 MHz and/or 50 MHz probes for Anterior Segment, or 20 MHz probe for High Frequency Posterior Segment ultrasound.
