OEA Technologies is a marine monitoring and surveillance company.

With over 200 units operational world-wide, CODAR SeaSonde HF radars have become the coastal HF radar of choice. Whether it be for the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, the U.S. or Japanese Coast Guards, or a wide-range of civilian littoral observing systems, CODAR HF radars are generating real-time synoptic surface current maps for operations ranging from MetOc to search and rescue. CODAR has a range of systems designed to meet specific applications, whether they be near shore or long-range. Presently, CODAR SeaSondes are operating in Quebec and Nova Scotia and soon to be in New Brunswick.

In addition to being the Canadian supplier of CODAR HF radars, OEA Technologies offers a range of contracting services pertaining to marine environmental monitoring and surveillance. Earth-observing satellites and coastal HF radars are our specialty. Military and civilian clients rely on OEA to develop and implement integrated operational MILOC and METOC rapid environmental assessment (REA) strategies in littoral waters.
