Nova Scotia Consortium of Universities & Colleges

Nova Scotia, Canada's Education Province, has eleven
- more per capita than any other province in Canada - and a
13-campus community college system. All are publicly funded
institutions, and each offers a wide range of programs and
degrees that are recognized worldwide.

Nova Scotia is famous for seafood, hospitality, a moderate
climate, and excellent education choices. In addition, it is
culturally diverse and rich in history. Nova Scotia welcomes
international students to its friendly, vibrant campuses.
Students share classes with others from around the world in a
safe and caring learning environment. Our institutions offer
support services and programs for students from abroad,
local host families, special orientation programs, and English
language support.

Known for its quality, education in Nova Scotia is also
surprisingly affordable. Average costs for a full year of study
including tuition, books, food and accommodation are in the
of $12,000US. In addition, international students are eligible
for scholarship consideration at Nova Scotia institutions and
often apply financial aid packages from their own countries to
studies undertaken here.

Nova Scotia's universities and colleges welcome students and
their families to visit the province to explore their campuses.
Arrangements can be made for on-campus accommodation, campus
tours, and meetings with appropriate faculty and administrators.
