Northwest Mettech is a project engineering company focused on
the thermal spray industry. The product line includes the Axial
III plasma torch system, proprietary recipes, powders and
accessory equipment. Systems are sold to original equipment
manufacturers, R&D companies, and coating job shops around the
world. Many industries benefit from coatings, including:
aerospace; pulp & paper; chemical process; and petroleum.
Typical applications include: thermal barrier coatings;
ceramics; abradable coatings; wear resistant coatings;
refurbishing titanium surfaces; and providing hard surfacing
which features reduced erosion and improved performance.
Mettech also does contract research assisting companies develop
new applications and enhanced coatings.
