Niagara College is recognized as one of Canada's most progressive, enterprising and forward-thinking colleges. The College is located in the beautiful Niagara Region of Ontario which has much to offer.

Niagara College clusters its strategic mix of programs on three campuses. The new high tech Glendale Campus located in Niagara on-the-Lake at the foot of the Niagara escarpment, a World Biosphere Reserve, houses the college's environmental, horticultural and agribusiness programs, providing a living laboratory for students and community. The campus is also home to corporate training and the Business Development Centre; the Centre for Integrated Manufacturing Training and Applied Research; and the Business and Entreprenourship programs including the globally-focused Centre for International Trade.

The Welland Campus is the college's home base for information and computer technology; health programming; and justice and public safety programs housed in the Centre for Policing and Community Safety Studies, a partnership facility with the Niagara Regional Police Service.

The state-of-the-art Maid of the Mist Centre in Niagara Falls is dedicated to the college's programs in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Culinary Management, and Tourism.

Whatever the program selected, all students benefit from relevant practical experience in business and industry through cooperative or work placements, internships, or projects designed in conjunction with employers or governments.

Niagara College has prepared over 30,000 graduates for the challenges of the future through our Centres of Excellence in: Hospitality and Tourism, Environment and Horticulture, Centre for Integrated Manufacturing Training and Applied Research (CIMTAR), Business and International Trade, Information Technology and New Media.

International students and international projects and contracts are supported by Niagara's International Office, which provides a full service, expert and supportive environment including: full staffing by a Director, International Student Advisor, International Project Assistants; English as a Second Language Coordinator and faculty; complete facilities including offices and study lounge; International events and activities; and Homestay accommodation with Canadian families.

Niagara College also offers a comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program for students from all over the world. For over a decade, Niagara College has developed expertise and experience in international project work in many countries. The college also develops and delivers customized programs for international groups. For example:

Customized English for Special Purposes (ESP) programs can be specially developed for groups of participants including: office and Business English, English for Tourism, English for Software and the Internet, conversation, customer service language, language for a western audience, technical language in specific industries.
