'rod Knuckle' Stuffing Box- Environmental B.O.P.

N.E.R.D. (nelgar's Electronic Rod Diagnostic) Dynamometer.
The world's first Wireless Dynamometer collects 72 data samples per second, including accurate stress and loading interpretations of the entire pumping system. N.E.R.D. features 'real time' data display of dynamometer cards and valve checks and has increased safety due to cordless stroke action (all data collected is transmitted to a computer via wireless signals). It's light weight design (16 lbs) incorporates an aluminum structure with stainless steel plates and is able to measure loads of up to 40,000 lbs accurately.

Sure Shot Acoustic Fluid Level Machine.
'Tried, tested and proven for 5 years running...even in the harshest conditions of a Canadian winter!'. Our Sure Shot system features: '5 shooter' capabilities-Gas (Nitrogen & CO2), implosion (well pressure), 45' caliber and 10 gauge shells and has a pressure release system which allows for isolation & release of built up pressure safely. The Sure Shot has a rating of 3000 P.S.I. (gas charges) & 1500 P.S.I (black powder), dual channels (both collar and fluid), 11 point collar counters (electronic) and is capable of producing electronic data or printable strip paper results. Nelgar's Sure Shot equipment is adaptable or able to 'cross over' to any other fluid level machine on the market.

Services

Acoustic Pressure Buildup Surveys Evaluate static reservoir pressure and performance damage. Data will be used to determine the reservoir characteristics and can also be used in other various ways: EUB- Evaluate production practices, assess recovery performance, determine remaining reserves and resolve equity questions. Reservoir- Recoverable reserves still in place and pool performance versus predicted. Production- Work over/ recompletion candidates and artificial lift problems.

Dynamometers (wireless) A Dynamometer test will simultaniously measure the load and polished rod positioning of a rod pumping system. Data collected will directly determine: Pumping unit's torque's and loads, rod stresses, loading and efficencey of pumps. Once these measurements are taken, the well can then be assessed for: Speed of system, stroke length, gearbox, pumping unit or rod string loading. All of Nelgar's Dynamometer reports are colour coded to ensure easy interpretation, include 2 photos of the well head and pumping unit and most importantly include comprehensive recommendations and thorough data analysis from our own team of in-house engineers. Nelgar's Electronic Rod Diagnostic Dynamometer (N.E.R.D.) is also avaliable for purchase. Inquiries welcome and prices upon request.

Fluid Levels The fluid level in a producing well can be determined using acoustics. Sound is introduced into the tubing- casing annulus and the reflected sound waves are recorded upon their return to the surface. An accurate fluid level is often used to: Determine bottom hole pressure, help evaluate pump performance, determine additional production potential and assess operating changes.

Foam Depression Test. Conduted to determine the true fluid level and an accurate producing bottom hole pressure. To accomplish this, fluid levels are taken with the annulus closed. This traps the casing gas and collapses the foam. If you measure the increase in pressure and the difference in fluid levels, you can determine the gradient of the fluid (gas, oil or water).

Inflow Performance Relationship (ipr) A measure of the relationship between the bottom hole pressure and the production rate. This test will indicate the potential of a production rate increase. This rate must be known to determine the feasibility of increasing production.

Static Calculations A static fluid level is an accurate and inexpensive way to calculate a static reservoir pressure on wells that have been shut-in for an extended period of time.

Eub Requirements Pressure Surveys, PAS Files (creation and submission), Packer Isolation, Surface Casing Vent Tests and Lease Inspections.

Other Services Pumping system design, gas migrations, segregation tests, pump intake pressure calculations and flowing emulsion gradients.
