Necho was founded in 1995, as a venture spin-off company of The
Rider Travel Group Inc. Founded in 1983, The Rider Group is
Canadas leader in business travel management with annual
revenues in excess of $650 million and approximately 1000
employees. Hogg Robinson, a significant shareholder in The Rider
Travel Group, strengthens Nechos long-standing relationship
with Business Travel International (BTI) and broadens Nechos
global capabilities. Hogg Robinson plc is the worlds leading
business travel management organization with operations in some
70 countries and gross annual sales approaching $20 billion.
In 1993, Necho (then part of The Rider Travel Group), invested
more than $6 million in the market research, product design and
commercial software development of Nechos NavigatER solution.
This development included surveying over 50 organizations, and
an intense specification design effort including eight multi-
national companies. Nechos affiliation to The Rider Group, a
leader in travel services, ensured the complexity and
specificity of T&E processes were fully integrated into
NavigatERs design. In addition, Necho has partnered with
industry leaders in the charge card, banking, travel and
technology sectors to ensure Diners customers have a complete
solution to their needs.
