National Aviation Museum Division
The National Aviation Museum is one of the foremost users of new
media and technology in the Canadian museum community. Its
award-winning Silver Dart multimedia encylopedia allows visitors
and on-line users an opportunity to view the collections
digitally. It is in the process of developing interactive
multimedia exhibit labels and will issue its first CD-ROM of the
collection for fall, 1995 Joint venture for production and
education market distribution of Silver Dart CD-ROM with
Canadian Heritage Information Network & National Film Board.
Partnership for Silver Dart production and testing with Stentor.
Joint venture with other museums to develop content for
MediaLinx Network.
