Customer Profile System: Is a database marketing application
that consists of three subsystems: Mailing List Management,
Customer Profiling, and Purchase Tracking. Using profile data it
can target specific customers for mailings and promotions.
Customers can be analyzed demographically or by purchase history,
thus enabling increased customer loyalty through better customer
service.
Retail Merchandising System: Is designed to help to efficiently
manage all aspects of the merchandising cycle, from purchase
order management to point-of-sale transactions. It includes
planning and open-to-buy, purchasing, receiving, marketing,
distribution, unit control, stock ledger accounting, and
extensive exception reporting. It supports UPC, EDI, bar code
scanning, electronic communications between in-store and host
systems, and the capture of non-sale transactions via portable
data terminals.
SmartLook: Runs on a PC-Network environment under Windows, and
uses PC-based tools to access and present information from a
variety of sources. Key pieces of information from the STS
System are stored in a relational database. SmartLook then
accesses this information and displays it in a variety of ways.
