• Certified Explosive Ordnance Disposal (eod) Specialists.

  NOTRA provides the following general explosives related services: explosive safety (including remote specialties such as fireworks); detection, identification and removal of munitions underwater and/or on land; storage of explosives; transportation of explosives; field evaluations; explosive surveys (site assessment); render safe (disposal in situ, after evaluation of hazard); demilitarization; resource recovery/reuse/recycling; business community planning (BCP); munitions management/training; improvised explosive device (IED) consultation including training/education, emergency response planning assistance and IED prevention planning.

  NOTRA conducts all of its explosives related work in accordance with its ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions; has a clear understanding of munitions issues and problems; employs EOD/IED specialists who are military trained and who have the most current knowledge and certifications; employs personnel who are experienced in all facets of hazardous materials management (especially the transportation, handling, use, storage and disposal of explosives); is experienced at performing explosives management contract work for the Canadian Department of National Defence; and is extremely flexible, focussed and cost-competitive.

• Notra Organics Inc. (noi) Concept.

  NOTRA has developed a unique approach for processing organic raw materials (ie, waste materials) into value-added and marketable products. The process uses zero risk and proven technologies that are immediately available.

  NOTRA has identified this approach as the NOI concept. The NOI concept uses patent protected, proven technologies to process organic waste material into high quality, value-added products which are pathogen free, easy to handle, and have no unpleasant odours. Modular in design, the production rate of the system can be resized simply and quickly adjusted to accommodate a clients particular requirement. The NO concept can accommodate an almost unlimited variety of organic waste inputs with little or no reconfiguration, making it a highly flexible and versatile system.

  A NO facility has the capability to take the raw organic waste, process it rapidly and simply, and produce value-added products which can be sold and used as animal feed supplements and/or organic based fertilizers.

  The benefit of the NO system include: an effective solution to growing environmental concerns associated with organic waste disposal; consistently high quality, value-added final products which can be profitably produced; modular, flexible and versatile design permits follow-on use; computer controlled process guarantees quality product; patent process reduces energy by 25%; and the complete destruction of pathogens and micro-organisms.
