ND LEA Consultants Ltd. is a Canadian-owned consulting
engineering firm providing a comprehensive range of professional
services in the transport sector. The firm is headquartered in
Vancouver, British Columbia and has operated successfully in
more than 45 countries over the past 37 years. The firm was
first established in 1962 under the name N.D.Lea & Associates
Ltd. and later operated overseas under the name of N.D.Lea
International Ltd. from 1987 to the end of 1998. The firm
presently maintains offices in Canada, Mexico, Trinidad &
Tobago, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Philippines.

ND LEA is solely owned by its senior staff who include
engineers, economists and environmental and management
professionals specialising in transport engineering (planning,
design, construction and project management) as well as
institutional development (technical assistance, management
systems and training). In Canada, the firm is nationally
recognised for highway, bridge and public transport planning and
designs, which have established new standards in terms of
environmental impact, level of service, cost-effectiveness and
maintainability.

In Asian and Latin American/Caribbean markets, ND LEA has gained
a reputation for successfully adapting up-to-date technology and
standards to a diversity of cultures and socio-economic and
environmental conditions. The firm is registered with the major
international funding agencies such as the World Bank, the Asian
Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the
Canadian International Development Agency. Our staff have a
wealth of experience in projects funded by these organisations
and we are able to assist clients in borrower countries to
satisfy all funding and project implementation requirements.

Recent Award: Canadian Consulting Engineering Award of
Excellence for the Tsable River Upstream Bridge.
