Success Story # 1. - Gas Hydrate Exploration Geotechnical Survey

Company:

CPE Inc./ Northern Exploration, & Geological Survey of Canada successfully drilled aproximately 50 test holes 4-1/2' dia. to depths of 30 feet in the Mallik gas hydrate fields of the Mackenzie Delta - northwestern Canadian Arctic. Due to the limited access to the area the drilling unit needed to be Heli-portable, easy to manuever once on site, capable of drilling in permafrost, and stay under 500 kg in weight. Multi-Power worked with the customers and re-designed our Pioneer series drill to accomodate thier requiremnets and was able to produce a small portable system on wheels that would develop about 1, 100 lbs of rotary torque and 3, 050 lbs. of Pull Back force. The system was equiped with both CRREL Ice core barrels and convention augering systems allowing the client the ability to be flexible in the field.

Success Story #2. - Core Drilling For Gold In Slovakia

Golden Regent Resources required a smaller exploration drill that was versatile and capable of diffrent types of drilling. Multi-power's Prospector II series drill met their needs, allowing them to enter terrain that the larger exploration drills were not capable of reaching. The Uderina area was the first of many strategic areas that the Prospector II would successfully drill and on the first outing the drillers were able to drill 200M / day making short work of the proposed drilling program in the area.

Multi-Power Products Ltd. moved into their new 15, 000 sq. ft. facility 3 years ago and are currently looking at expanding even further to up-grade their machining, painting, and warehouse departments.
