Moriyama & Teshima has established a world-wide reputation for
excellence in design. The firm offers services in landscape
architecture, interior design, urban design, and planning as well
as architecture. Projects include university buildings, schools,
libraries, museums, corporate and government headquarters
buildings, science centres, recreational facilities, office
buildings, and transit projects. Planning and urban design
projects include campus plans, tourism developments, and city
plans. Long-range, environmentally-sensitive master plans for
areas such as the Niagara area and the Meewasin River Valley in
Saskatchewan have become a specialty. International projects
include high-rise office towers in New Orleans and Chicago, a
transit/pedestrian mall in downtown Buffalo, the Canadian Embassy
in Tokyo, and the Saudi Arabian National Museum in Riyadh. In
some cases, we have worked in joint ventures with local
architectural firms. On other projects, such as the Saudi Museum,
we worked as the prime consultant providing full architectural
services and coordinating a team of sub consultants in the U.K.,
Saudi, and Canada.
