Modern has an FMS (flexible manufacturing system) which is two horizontal milling machines attached to a 28 pallet sytems. This allows any one of these pallets to be radomly loaded into the machine. Each pallet, when setup, requires no further setups at all so that production of any given product in the cell can be call up at any time. This allows Modern to respond quickly to its customers with repeating product requests. Modern also has a Zeiss CNC coordinate measuring machine and full time programing capability.
