Products
Imaging Series
Picolink Series
The world's smallest decoders, encoders and converters!
The picoLink Series, part of the Quanta Family of miniature
products, offers an elegant and compact line of standalone
miniature encoders, decoders and converters with a multitude of
interfacing options. All picoLink modules offer excellent
price/performance and a simple user interface. A lightweight,
compact aluminum body combines with a simplified design to ensure
ease of installation and operation.
Stellar Series (aquila)
Built on Miranda's third generation de-interlacing and up-scaling
technology, the Aquila Upconverter (part of the Stellar Series)
sets a new standard of image quality and price performance.
The Aquila Upconverter provides conversion of 4:2:2 or NTSC/PAL
sources to HD serial digital. Accommodating the choices and
opportunities faced by broadcasters and content producers, the
Aquila supports a large number of signal formats including 480p,
720p, 1035i, 1080i and 1080p.
The highly modular Stellar Housing Frame provides Aquila users an
Unprecedented level of flexibility and cost-savings compared to
the traditional dedicated black box approach. Multiple Aquila
Upconverters can be housed in the same frame if redundancy or
multiple channels of upconversion are required.
Kaleido - Multi-image Display System
The Kaleido multi-image display system redefines signal
monitoring by incorporating all the features of a control room
monitor wall in a single multi-window display. Kaleido is capable
of simultaneously displaying up to 16 analog or digital video
signals. Each window can be configured for 4:3 or 16:9 aspect
ratios and can be independently sized and positioned. Each
window can be configured to include dual tally displays and a
source identification label. Kaleido allows users to instantly
select one of 256 preset layouts. The unit's dual outputs provide
user selectable resolution allowing the output to be adapted to a
variety of computer, projection and plasma displays. Kaleido is
ideal for any multipurpose production control room or for mobile
(OB) van applications.
Screen-fx
Screen-FX is a virtual video wall processor capable of displaying
up to 16 real-time image windows simultaneously. Screen-FX
provides an ideal solution for interactive studio sets, command
and control, multimedia presentations and many other
multi-windowing applications. With an intuitive user interface
and the ability to seamlessly mix digital video, analog
(NTSC/PAL) video and graphic input signals, Screen-FX combines
ease-of-use with complete flexibility. Screen-FX offers all the
advantages of video walls like programmable sequences, text
generations and special effects. Screen-FX supports 4:3 and 16:9
ratios, computer generated images (i.e. BMP files), a separate
computer background, zoom and 2D effects on individual windows.
With its scalable output, Screen-FX can be adapted to every
projection display. From staging to control rooms, Screen-FX is
the multi-windowing solution of choice.
Microlink Patchfield Converters
The Microlinks are miniature encoders and decoders packaged
directly inside WECO compatible normalized jacks. The Microlinks'
unique packaging concept allows NTSC/PAL sources to be encoded
and decoded inside the jack, eliminating the need for external
converters.
Ser Series Of Serializers And Deserializers
Miranda's plug-in serializers and deserializers are designed to
minimize parallel digital cabling for a variety of digital video
formats. The SER-100s convert serial/parallel 4:2:2 video; the
SER-200s convert serial/parallel 4Fsc video; the SER-400s are
designed to facilitate the conversion of compressed transport
streams to and from the asynchronous serial (ASI-C) and
synchronous parallel (SPI-LVDS) interface formats; and the new
SER-800s facilitate the conversion of high-definition video from
parallel HD to SMPTE-292M serial HD and vice versa.
Oem Solutions
Today's rapid product development cycle and complex hardware and
software integrations require expert solutions. To help meet
these challenges, we've developed a series of high quality
hardware video interfaces and signal processing technology for
the OEM marketplace.
