Ctp Neutralization System
The CTP-pH-Control safely neutrializes the effluent from all plate processing technologies, including thermal, polymer and conventional processors. The system regulates the pH levels using a specially formulated neutralizing solution, Meta-Aid. For plate processors discharging silver we include a patented MetaWool filter to remove the silver. With our patented Enviro-Jet discharge system, your drains will be kept virtually clog-free. The CTP-pH-Control is linked to our MetaTrax monitoring database which allows you on-line access to your environmental performance and effluent discharge volumes. As part of our MetaTrax Service Plan, Metafix will monitor your system, keeping track of maintenance and consumables making sure that you are in compliance.

Metafix 1000 Series Silver Recovery/Chemical Reduction Systems.
Metafix manufactures a variety of photo processing effluent treatment, and pollution prevention systems including: the 1000 Series electrolytic closed loop Silver Recovery/Chemical Reduction Systems. The Metafix 1000 series is the most sophisticated closed loop silver recovery-fixer reduction system on the market. The new state-of-the-art design and engineering offer both environmental and economic benefits. Its closed loop electrolytic process automatically optimizes silver recovery while allowing a reduction of fixer replenishment by up to 50%. Plus with the unique built in statistical control and process monitoring system, the 1000 series exceeds recent industry and government environmental recommendations for monitoring chemical use and discharge. The 1000 series tracks, monitors and records data from both the silver recovery operation and the film process. Information that can be easily downloaded directly to a hand-held printer or your PC. Now you can create accurate reports outlining chemical discharge volume, films processed, replenishment volume, silver returns and more. Reporting will never be easier. MiX eXchangers: To ensure maximum silver recovery and compliance with the most stringent silver discharge regulations. Metafix introduces the new One-Time Use MiXTM Metal ion eXchanger. These columns are filled with an innovative medium that takes metal exchange technology to the next level. MetaWoolTM is a non-toxic mixture of iron and natural fibre. The iron and fibre work together in a kind of 'buddy system'; the particles of iron are backed up by companion fibre particles. This allows the effluent to flow randomly through the column, virtually eliminating channelling and allowing for maximum silver recovery and higher flow rates. Maximizer Series: The Maximizer-40 is the most advanced, easy to operate and attractive silver recovery system available for the mini lab market. It offers 3 ways to introduce chemistry into it's on board holding tank . It can be poured into the funnel, an intake pump and hose can take it from the processor's spent chemistry reservoirs, or it can be plumbed to the processor overflow. Metafix Photochemical Treatment Systems
Metafix photochemical treatment systems include: Wash Control: Metafix introduces a new concept in wash water treatment. Replenished on demand vs. continuous flow-through. Other water recirculation systems circulate water until it becomes unusable, then the system and processor have to be dumped and refilled. The Wash Control continuously circulates water from its holding tank through filters to the processor's wash tank. The wash water is refreshed daily and regulated by the Wash Control's unique control system. It monitors the processor's activity and replenishes the exact amount of fresh water per film necessary for efficient washing and archival stability. The Wash Control controls bio-slime by automatically metering in WashClean(TM), a non-toxic solution that keeps your wash tank virtually spotless. The Wash Control is programmed to meter out the spent wash water to the innovative 10-2-1TM Wash columns. These are the only columns in the industry capable of consistently and effectively desilvering wash water down to non-detectable levels. These components form a powerful wash water treatment system which will save you money, maintain a clean processor and keep you in compliance with the most stringent silver discharge regulations. DevControl: Metafix introduces the DevControl(TM), a real solution for developer reduction. Unlike other developer saver units on the market which are expensive, high-maintenance machines that do little more than play on the 'buffer zone' of developer chemistry, the DevControl offers advanced technology, with 'hands-off' maintenance at a reasonable price. What makes the DevControl superior is its intuitive design which reduces developer usage, logically and intelligently.
